Founded in 2018 by Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan agents working together to fight food insecurities in Michigan.
Step Up Foundation
Founded by Kelsey and Ben Starr the Step Up Foundation exists to eliminate student hunger in Monroe County by creating in-school pantry spaces that provide immediate, dignified access to food—powered by community partnerships and built to sustainably support every student in need.
Monroe Public Schools ACF Grant
Monroe Public Schools was recently awarded a $2,500 grant to fight childhood food insecurity by the Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan Agent Charitable Fund (ACF) and the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies (MFBFoC).
Agent Charitable Fund Awards Grant to Oaks Village
Oaks Village was recently awarded a $2,500 grant to fight food insecurity in the community by the Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan Agent Charitable Fund (ACF). Grant funds will be used to purchase fresh produce for the Oaks Village Food Pantry so families can have healthier food box options.

Ida, Mich. – Ida Elementary School was recently awarded a $2,000 grant to fight childhood food insecurity and provide agricultural education by the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies (MFBFoC) and Michigan Farm Bureau Agent Charitable Fund (ACF).
Michigan Farm Bureau Awards Grant to Monroe Public Schools
Monroe, Mich. – Waterloo Elementary at Monroe Public Schools was recently awarded a $2,000 grant to fight childhood food insecurity by the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies (MFBFoC) and Michigan Farm Bureau Agent Charitable Fund (ACF). Grant funds will be used to establish and stock the Waterloo Elementary Food Pantry with nonperishable food items.
